CORNWALL : Wave St. Piran's flag at the Olympics

GOOD NEWS

The Cornish flag of St. Piran can be brought to Olympic venues after all.
Pirate Radio claims their intervention made this possible.
Tim Potter, from LOCOG, (London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games) confirmed this three days ago. Common sense has prevailed.
The flag must be no bigger than 2 metres by 1 metre; so as not to interfere with the views of other spectators.
Saint Piran was a 6th century Cornish abbot, and is the patron saint of the Cornish.

Last month the flag was flown on the Royal Barge, Gloriana, during the Jubilee Pageant on the river Thames.
