JATO Dynamics Ltd, founded in England in 1984, provides comprehensive and impressive information on vehicle specifications, prices, sales and registrations. This is invaluable to people in the automotive industry and to so-called petrolheads. The company is based in Harrow UK, with offices in over forty countries, among them Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, the Netherlands and the USA.
Their complete figures for Sales by market give far more detail: discussion and more analysis can be seen on their press release on their website.

Extracting the following figures makes interesting reading.

Only the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Great Britain, Hungary, Iceland, Luxembourg, Slovakia and Switzerland increased sales in 2012.

Iceland had an astonishing 56.5% growth for last year. Jato didn't comment on this.
Such are the wonderful views in this beautiful country it must be difficult to keep one’s eyes on the road while driving there.
Liechtenstein, Andorra and Monaco are not included in Jato Dynamics’ list, is this because they are too small?
They are part of Europe nonetheless.
