Month 6 Circulation Figures. Labels and Links. Blogger Problems over inserting Pictures. 10,000 Readers + in Six Months. NIMBY.

Chart Month 6

The chart shows how readership has increased overall since labels were added a month ago, with over 100 readers on quite a few days and even 200 some days.
The month is memorable, with 10,000 + readers in only six months.

Adding Links

I am still experimenting with these, not always successfully as yet. In case the link has failed, I leave references at the bottom of the page.

Initially there was a slow response to early articles on art, but statistics on Laura Knight, Grandma Moses, Vogue for Russian Art and Russian Art at the Saatchi Gallery in London reveal appreciation and demand.
The Saatchi review was the top post of the month. The Saatchi exhibition dating from the break-up of the Soviet Era is thought-provoking and disconcerting. In many ways it seems that communism was preferable.. Exhibits reveal homelessness, indifference, capitalist waste, torture, suicide, bloodied bureaucrats and primitive summary justice.
More people read Circulation Figures, Month 5, than usual.
Few readers here or abroad were interested in our horse meat scandal. The media had a field day: a new topic and saturated the market with articles. We don’t eat horses, cats or dogs here: actually, the subject hardly ever comes up. Warhorse, the film last year, showed the role of horses in WW1: many people left the cinema in tears.  "A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse!" from Shakespeare’s Richard III showed the importance of a horse to the unhorsed king during the battle of Bosworth Field. Abroad, people may eat and enjoy horse meat as much as they please, and Nimby-like, and hypocritically we even export horses to the continent to be turned into horse meat.

Blogger Glitches

A Blogger glitch last month deleted Wellington Boots and substituted a duplicate Fasting article, without my realising this. I couldn't remember the name of the original so called it Fasting Experiments, and it sort of got like Topsy and took on its own life and statistics. In the hope of reaching 10,000 readers this month I have let it run for the figures it was generating but will delete it after this month’s figures. Fortunately all articles are saved in Microsoft Word.
